With a range of exclusive interior and exterior details, the latest 2021 Chevrolet Equinox RSÂ improves styling. These include 19-inch Dark Android wheels, LED headlight, Chevrolet black badges, glossy, black-side rails, the SUV's own unique theme, as well as a black-gloss mesh grille. The cabin of the SUV is jet black with a red inner stitch, chrome accents and black headliner. Leather-designed upholstery as an option is also available. The Equinox's Cabin can draw broad appeal from sturdy materials and beautifully built. The comfortable interior can provide fair comfort for both front and rear passengers.
The 2021 Chevrolet Equinox is a stunning crossover for family driving with a spacious interior, a good fuel economy and a very spry driving experience. Buyers can either pick turbocharges 1.5-liter 4-cylinder or gutsier turbo 2.0-liter. . The front-wheel drive is standard, but both engines can be paired with all-wheel drives. The swoopy design of the cabin is well suited to the exterior, but while Chevy offers a lot of infotainment amenities as usual. Compatibilities with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as with Bluetooth phone and audio feeds, USB and auxiliary input jack are standard. The basic Wi-Fi on board makes the Equinox one of the most popular crossovers.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance
Two powertrain options will be available for the new car from its launch. One is a 1.5 LFV I-4 turbo-charged engine with 166 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, coupled with an electronic six-speed transmission, whilst, along with the brand's nine-speed auto-transmission, an RS version of a 2.0L LSY I-4 is powerful at up to 233 horsepower with a torque of 256 pounds-feet. With this 1.5-liter turbo engine powering 166 horsepower and a heavy foot drive to rush Equinox up to highway speeds when coupled to the optional (and heavier) all-wheel drive system (the standard front-wheel drive). A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder is much better suited to the weight of the Equinox. The standard six-speed automatic shifts smoothly, but for the sake of fuel economy, the gearbox is reluctant to roll down when extra power is required. The Equinox is Delightful and quick to drive, performs competently and with precise and direct steering. The ride is a bit tough, particularly with optional 19-inch wheels (17s or 18s come standard, depending on the trim) where rougher stretches of road convey some discomfort to the cabin.
