The techs who performed the oil change were professional, quick, and thorough, making sure everything was done properly. everything was great except the prices your labor is too high for the small amount of money we have. There is always something that need to fixed on our vehicle. The different things they recommend is greater than $2500 dollars. I just don't have it.

When my car was completed , we were not notified by any of the workers. We were notified by another sitting customer. We were sitting for almost an additional 30 minutes to an hour. Please do better and be mindful of others time.

At the beginning I was just planning to take my 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer into the service department and then I get an text from Ian in the sales department to see if I was interested in selling it. When I walked in, everyone was so nice. Cyrus took to me to go look at some Chevrolet Trax which I was interested and once I took it for a test drive, he had me sold. Jhan assisted me with the paperwork along with Justin (the sales manager) who both were awesome in helping me get the new vehicle that I felt I deserved. Roger who assisted with the finance was very thorough on everything from payments and etc. Thank you Davis Chevrolet! You have really helped me!

Julio was upfront with all the details regarding what they were doing to fix my Chevy Trax. He was very courteous to offer me rides to and from my residence while waiting for the repairs. He was very apologetic when there was a mixup with my address and fixed the problem.

All good, i did notice spark plug wires were not replace, spark plugs were changed supposedly, i dont know if is not required anymore but know I have to go and check spark plugs were actually changed. Also you need to go back to the checkout cashier system, I picked up my truck at 5:30pm, went to the first advisor I saw, which was with a customer so I was waiting he then told to go the booth and find someone, like he didn't want to attend one more customer, I went to first door in the booth, and before I said anything he said I'm on a phone call go check with someone else, went to the third one. And he checked me out but with an attitude like if that wasnt his job. Everyone is trying to go home and pass the customer to the next, i'm there to PAY and they like tey are making you a favor.

Waited two hours to get an oil change. I went to a store and turned off my truck. The radiator fan kept running. I called to speak with someone in service. He said the thermostat is going out. I drove to my house and the AC was not working. I called again and it took me more than an hour to finally talked to someone. He said that the thermostat is what is causing it. I’ve never had an issue with it. They could have at least checked it. I took it to a mechanic. All he did is disconnect the battery. It is working. It is frustrating to wait two hours for an oil change. Then wait more than an hour to finally talked to someone. I didn’t have a problem with the fan. It happened after my oil change.

Fransisco did a fantastic job with my trade-in. He made sure I was taken care of and provided the best option for me! He helped me roll out of the Dealership with a 2026 model. I am forever grateful!

On Friday 10-17 as a new customer, I tried several times to make a reservation for an oil change, and the system would never show any dates & times. I kept getting the message WE WANT YOUR CAR which seemed more important than ‘service’. Your Chat person kept referring me to a link, but every time kept getting the same round & round. Later I got a text “Thank you for letting us know. We’re looking into this and will get back to you.” Nothing, so I don’t know what happened. On Monday 10 -20 I was able to make a reservation for 10-21and did go. I was told that a shuttle is only available ‘one way’ (grump!) so I waited. While waiting I got a text from Ivan ‘…looking to buy my car…’ and will text …offer”. “It’s worth considering!” Later I got a call asking to stop by the office. So, being “…worth considering”, I did stop. One of the tree men ushered me in to sign the register, asked some questions and looked at my car and took a lot of photos, went back to an office where I though he was preparing an offer. After another 5 minutes - NOT! Instead, two other men approached and wanted to look at my car and asked for the key. One man spent another 5 minutes looking inside & outside along with taking more photos. Then drove off to be gone almost 10 minutes. When he got back, he wanted to know if I had an asking price and said he would make some calls. Yeech! I said I have already been here more than 20 minutes and did not want to wait for “some calls” so I asked for my key and said send your quote to my email or test.

It was awesome

I originally scheduled an oil change appointment, but noticed my car fan was running loud so I asked the service person if they could look at it and tell me what the problem was. The service person said that it would be $190 for a diagnostic but if I get the work done it would be used to pay for it. I was hesitant but agreed. He stated that there were four or five cars ahead of mine so they probably wouldn't get to it until the next day. I received a courtesy ride back to my job which took about 10 minutes. Once I got back to my job I called to tell him that I changed my mind and to only do an oil change. He told me to hold on and then stated they had already started the diagnostic. First of all, he originally stated that there were 4 or 5 people ahead of my, now that I don't want to spend $200 they started already. The service went from next day to immediately. After telling him that I thought he was lying and just trying to get money out of me he stated that he wasn't going to charge for starting the diagnostic and only doing the oil change. I later received a phone call saying my car was ready. Upon arriving this time I had a man with me. The same service person that was talking so much about what needed to be done and me taking the risk of driving the car said nothing to me about anything when we arrived. He told me the price of the oil change and took the money and walked away. I asked about the diagnostic that he still said they started and what he said they found and he told me that an estimate was attached to my bill. The estimate was for $1053.59 for a coolant leak out of T-fitting from the heat hose. This was a $84 dollar job that I had done at a mechanic shop. The service person was mad because he was not able to get his holiday Christmas money from robbing me of 1000 plus dollars. The prices that are being quoted are ridiculous. Now I see why everyone talks about dont go to the dealership to get work done on your vehicle. I try to support because I purchased my vehicle with Davis but the way I was treated upon return and the price quoted were ridiculous and to top it off when I looked under the hood before I left the top that was on my windshield wiper fluid container was not on it and they fluids were not filled which should have been done during the oil change. My service person was no where to be found so another kind gentleman replaced my cap and filled the fluid. By the way his name was Chris Hitchcock. It should be Chris "the liar", "manipulator" and "false service man".

The service mechanic emailed me a video of my motor and explained what he saw and made recommendations on what needed attention.

The service writer told me it would take 30 minutes to fix my side mirror that was hit by a tree branch and needed to be put back together. I was a little frustrated when it took an hour. The work was 30 minutes, but he failed to relate it would take 30 minutes to get it worked on. I also thought for a simple fix cost me $95.00 for a 30-minute job that I promise took the mechanic 10 minutes.

I like them to explain in detail what are the problems and opinions we have as clients in order to reach an agreement.

David was amazing. He was very professional, he was a great listener and he was adamantly doing all that he could to get us into the vehicle of our choice. Our overall experience was great!

I brought my vehicle in for a specific repair and was told it could be completed the same day. After leaving my truck all day, I did not receive any status updates as promised. By around 2:00 PM, after waiting for a call that never came, I had to repeatedly call the service department for over 20 minutes just to get an update. This is how I ultimately spoke with Dan, who assured me the repair could still be completed the same day. However, at approximately 4:00 PM, I was then told by my service advisor, Dana Lewis, that the repair could not be completed after all, despite the dealership closing at 6:00 PM. Notably, the tone of the conversation changed once I mentioned my earlier conversation with Dan. In addition to the lack of communication and shifting timelines, I was presented with an extensive list of additional recommended repairs totaling over $7,000, without clear prioritization or transparency around what was urgent versus what could wait. Several of these recommendations were later confirmed to be overstated or not immediately necessary. Clear communication, realistic expectations, and more transparency around service recommendations would have significantly improved this experience.

Gave me an insulting lowball offer on my trade in and then charged me more than the listed online price for the truck I was looking at after I clearly stressed to not waste my time and I was ready to sign the paperwork and take the new truck home. I came in with a flat tire and was in a hurry to get to work. Chris greeted me and took all my information. He also noticed that I was due for an oil change. I originally said,”no” but he went and checked and told me that he could get my tire fixed and oil change in an hour! So I agreed and it was done in an hour! I brought my Chevy Equinox EV in for service due to multiple issues, including the vehicle not connecting to OnStar and Google Maps not functioning on the infotainment system, leaving me without GPS—an essential feature for an EV. In addition, there were two active safety recalls that needed to be addressed. I dropped the vehicle off on a Monday morning and was called that same evening and told the car was repaired and ready for pickup. However, when I arrived and attempted to use the GPS, I immediately noticed the vehicle was in the exact same condition as when I dropped it off. The infotainment system still was not working and the vehicle still would not connect to OnStar. When I brought this to my service consultant’s attention, he immediately identified the issue and explained that a module needed to be replaced, provided the part number, and informed me that the part is currently on backorder and could take up to four weeks to arrive. At that point, I left with a vehicle that had not been repaired. Afterward, I called and requested to speak with the service manager to discuss the situation, but I was sent to voicemail and never received a return call. It has now been over a week. This lack of follow-up likely could have mitigated this negative review. I understand that parts delays happen and not all repairs can be completed immediately. However, professionalism, transparency, and communication go a long way—especially when a customer is told their vehicle is “ready” when no repair was completed. Avoiding customer follow-up is not an acceptable approach.

I went to change my truck oil and just took 45 minutes

Having car issues was not the best thing to happen to me on a weekday. Got a call from Julio Terran the next morning and asked me for information on the issue I had with my vehicle. Then said he would have his technician work on it. Later that morning I had a video from the technician explaining what he found. Blew my mind when I saw that video and was so helpful to know that they took that extra step to make me feel that this problem was resolved going forward. Julio Terran kept in contact with me throughout the process. I felt like I found my business and personal business with Davis Chevrolet dealership. When I picked up my car everyone made sure I was being helped and that was amazing team. So thankful with the whole team at Davis Chevrolet. Julio even looked up some things for my personal vehicle and I plan to bring him my vehicle soon to get some service done to it. My company car is running great again and feel safe again. 2024 Corvette Z06 inexplicably went into limp home mode. Had vehicle towed to Davis and ECM was replaced under warranty. Car back to normal. Very pleased with excellent service and service advisor Justin. Thank you.

I went in for an oil change on my dually, and came out with my shinny polished dually wheels rotated and my high country truck looking like a busted work truck. I was told that you can not rotate dually wheels and tires as only one side of the wheels are polished.

Did not do a proper inspection on my car which is now the third time. I called on 1/20/26 to follow up about the inspection details and the advisor could not find any details other than one was done. The issue was escalated to the service manager regarding my concerns. Here it is 2 weeks later and no follow up about my issues and trying to trust this place yet again with my car.

Had a great experience with Julio Teran from the beginning to the end. Made sure to keep me updated while having my vehicle.

I was in on 2/21/26 for a60,000 mile maintenance a few days later the check engine light came on.went off a few days later came on again. The service clerks were good but to spend about $1,000 dollars in over 3 weeks was not good. Why couldn't that have been addressed the first time.

I pick up my SUV brand new in January after a week I called for wind noise then I have to wait for three weeks for the loaner car then they keep my suv for week then I pick up it has same problem. Next morning I called Dana and let him know he asked to bring it back but I live in tomball and it will take time to bring it

Horrible, the service tech broke a sensor on my tire monitor system when I had the tires rotated. I know he did it because if they ran a check before hand they would have alerted me to their findings and ask me to fix it then. I never had my car parked in the parking lot either after service completed they always bring it up to service bay where you pay and the advisor gives me my keys and reciepts. Not this time and they did do the safety inspection I asked for so that, I could my car registered

I have bought several different vehicles from Davis Chevrolet and always the same sales person Miki can’t go wrong with good sales and dealership

The service was good, but going through the website to schedule an appointment was extremely frustrating. In addition, the person I was eventually able to discuss the A/C problem with gave me bad information (I don't think she is a mechanic) and mislead me to believe that if I came in at 2:30 I would be able to wait on site. After rearranging my work, I came by at 2pm prepared to stay until closing if needed; however, I was informed that there was no way they could diagnose an A/C problem in an afternoon and intimated that I didn't understand how things work (which is true enough!), but I could leave my car there and they would drive me back to work. My life has way too many moving parts (long hours at work, daily kids transportation, etc), and that approach requires considerable advanced planning and coordination at home. As a result, this messed up my day at work, which I had to make up for later, and I had to make additional arrangements at work (which is not easy) the following week. The scheduler I talked to was super nice and friendly, but apparently only knows as much as I do about auto repairs and probably shouldn't be "helping" customers schedule appointments. I brought the car in the following week in the morning. The A/C is working fine now

I recently purchased a vehicle from Mike Davis Chevrolet, and unfortunately the overall experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Before arriving, I was told the dealership would take my 2021 Chevy Trax as a trade-in even with the broken rear wheel axle. Based on that information, I paid $200 to have the vehicle towed to the dealership. After arriving, I waited over an hour before anyone seriously assisted me, only to later be told they could not take the vehicle as discussed. I also informed the team multiple times that I already had a pre-approval through Capital One Auto Finance, but it appeared that no effort was made to utilize or even properly review my financing option. Instead, I was presented with what felt like an unreasonable offer and was asked for a down payment despite having strong credit and stable income. Beyond the financial side, the customer service experience itself was poor. At one point, I was walking back into the dealership and passed a group of 4–5 employees standing near the entrance. No one acknowledged me, greeted me, or even attempted to hold the door. That may seem minor, but after already feeling stressed and unsupported throughout the process, it added to the overall feeling that customer care was not a priority. As a younger-presenting woman navigating a stressful vehicle situation on my own, I also could not shake the feeling that I was not being taken seriously throughout the process. Instead of feeling guided or supported, I often felt dismissed, pressured, and taken advantage of during conversations surrounding financing and trade-in discussions. The finance process was also concerning. GAP coverage and an extended warranty were automatically included in my paperwork without being clearly explained or discussed with me beforehand. Customers should be given the opportunity to make informed decisions about optional products instead of having them added automatically. In total, I was at the dealership from approximately 3:00 PM until 8:30 PM, which is an excessive amount of time for a process that lacked communication, transparency, and professionalism. To make matters worse, it took an entire week for my original vehicle to be returned to me after the dealership declined to accept it as originally discussed. Overall, I left feeling like advantage was taken of the difficult situation I was already in with my damaged vehicle, rather than being treated with honesty, professionalism, and respect. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both communication and customer care for future customers.
