One of those is another embodiment of the Chevrolet Suburban, the most extended naming plate in car industry history. A 6.2L V8 motor and new 10-speed automatic transmission are in the 2021 High Country model. With the brand new 2021 Suburban, Chevy entirely reinvents its oldest naming plate — and is bigger and stronger than ever. It shares a lot with the revamped Chevy Tahoe, but it does add more luggage space and third-row space due to its newly approved independent rear suspension. Which One to Buy The RST and Z71 mid-level versions have the most significant appeal. The former is more advanced, and the latter targeted adventurous people. We prefer the 4-wheel standard Z71, its sturdy look, and its unique off-road equipment. However, the air suspension and adjustable dampers are not suited to the diesel engine, as in the case of the RST. Z71 will also have the Z71 Signature bundle with an extensive array of desirable functions. Highlights are blind point supervision, lane maintenance assistance, heated steering wheel and second-row seats, memory configuration, panoramic sunroof, third-row power-folding, and retrofitted towing equipment. Engine, Transmission, and Performance This truck has five engine options, including a 6.2-liter, 420-horsepower V-8; a 5.3-liter, 355-horsepower V-8; a 2.7-liter, turbocharged, 310-horsepower four-cylinder, 3.0-liter, six-cylinder, diesel engine; and a 4.3-liter, V-6 engine. The transmission on this vehicle is available in six-speed, eight-speed, and ten-speed automatic options with all-wheel-drive capability with gas mileage of up to 23 mpg city and 33 mpg highway. Features on this truck include up to 13,300 towing power, a range of models that allow the truck to be a luxury vehicle or a work truck, wireless charging, ventilated seating, head-up display and carbon fiber detailing, as well as infotainment systems.
